Twitter

Currently we require you to connect a Twitter account so that we can call the Twitter API on your behalf and Search for results for you. If we were to use our own account we would quickly go over the usage limits for that API.

If you are uncomfortable granting us access to your Twitter account then we recommend creating a Twitter account specifically for Notifier and granting us access to that one.

Note that granting us access to call the Twitter API on your behalf only grants us the ability to call the API on your behalf.

We do NOT:

• Do anything except get your email from Twitter AND call the Twitter Search API on your behalf.

• Look at your profile information

• Look at any of your tweets

• Have access to your password

• Have the ability to change any of your twitter settings

• Have the ability to Tweet as you.

Instagram

The Instagram API is very similar to Twitter and that we simply call the Instagram search API on your behalf.

Instagram API does require you to have an Instagram business account and that it be linked to a Facebook page.
